A rare WWII type Nazi German soldier ID disc, so called Dog Tag. The tag contains the soldiers personal number, 687, and the letter designation of the military unit in which he served. Such tags were worn on a cord around the neck. In the event of the death of a serviceman, the tag was broken into two halves. For this purpose, there is a perforated line in the middle of the tag.
