This dagger has a chain with hallmarks on one of the attachments near the scabbard with marked NSKK. Has German silver heavy metal fittings. The scabbard is made with metal covered in black paint. Fitting has original screws. Chain has all completed parts on the rings. Clasp belt holder clip hook has oak symbol with fully operational spring. The wood handle has a Nazi swastika eagle badge and an enameled SA symbol badge. The SA Sturmabteilung, or Storm Troopers, was the Nazi Partys original paramilitary organization, formed in 1921, playing a key role in Hitler's rise to power by intimidating opponents and protecting Nazi leaders.
