An antique French Sevres hand painted porcelain and gilt bronze mounted box. The round shape box is gilt bronze mounted. Mounted on four ornate legs, and adorned with two handles on sides. The cover is adorned with a hand painted medallion representing a garden scene with a woman and a child surrounded by floral and foliage ornaments, on the top. Signed by artist, F. Guy, probably Francis Guy, c. 1760 to 1820, an English born American painter, lower left. The body of the ware is adorned with a medallion featuring a floral raised decoration on silver background.
