A Soviet era enamel bronze badge For Excellent Shooting of the USSR. The round badge covered in blue and red enamel features two raised crossed rifles and a red star of the Soviet Union with a hammer and sickle in the center. Around the circle is the inscription For Excellent Shooting of the USSR. The badge was established by the RVS Revolutionary Military Council of the USSR in 1928 to award enlisted men and officers of the Red Army for fulfilling average standards and requirements in combat training.
